The Book

I never had a favourite book but this one deserve to be. When i got lost in this book, my mind could help repeating, this is the one. The book. “The-going-to-be-your-favourite-book”.
I bought this book because of its cover page which is in the colour of mint (ada aura hijau-hijau cikit haha). And also patutnya harga betul dia rm55.90 tapi dekat bookstore tu rm17.90 ja. If the real price is rm55.90, the story should be good. And it was. To me. Hasya jasmin :)

What is it abouttttt? Well, there’s this guy. Takdalah old but he’s not young either. He’s been taking care of his mom that got diagnosed with cancer until she dies. On her way to her to death, she kept calling her son in the name of her favourite movie star (i guess), Richard. She kept on praising him and she didn’t remember she had a son. She was fine, happy and okay but at the same time, sick. Eventho she's sick, I deeply love how she sees the world, sumpah inspiring mashaAllah T.T huhu ok proceed

In this book, is a guy who write/talks to the real Richard, telling him what he felt, how was his day and how life works for him after the death of his beloved mom. He wasn’t embracing his emotion, he is more to just letting the real Richard know. Updating him everyday. He wasn’t the type of guy that ask stuff, he was quiet, he was the definition of silents. But his heart was kind and pure walaupun he had this small voice inside him yang tak pernah lelah telling him dia sejenis retard + spesis manusia yang noob. He was infinitely nice. He doesn’t do stuff for himself more than he did for people.

He was quite inspiring for me. Eventho i know kesimpulannya cerita ni, he’s like this ‘lelaki lembab’ yang percaya pada metafora believing that he’s a bird. I still thinks its okay.

There’s a quote in this book saying,
“there’s a lot of sky out there for brave birds.” He was one of the brave birds. I think we could be too kan? flying around and chipping hahah it must’ve felt free.

Nowadays kau akan banyak nampak how judgemental people can be, well we’re just human aren’t we? Part of us ada negativiti. Kau akan perasan how that guy in the story is one of the people paling tak matter dalam dunia ni. How there is days, orang yang tak matter ni could be opening the door for you while you just walk out without saying thank you. How petty you are but for what’s worth, orang yang bukakan pintu tu tadi didn’t do it for you. They do it for themselves. The satisfaction of being kind to people and not expecting anything in return.

If you re a negative person, believe me you aren’t fully bad. I’d like to believe that we’re human are always 50% positive and 50% negative. Its okay to get irritated to things, to not like things, to hate whats good for you. But you can’t always be bad and expect good things to happen. That isn’t how it supposed to be. Tak seimbang. But its never not okay to be negative sometimes sebab life doesn't usually works how we wanted it to be kan. and sometimessss we have bad days so we just gotta let the demons out but jangan ah let that demon side define you tau :)

If you don’t know whats good for u, ask God, Allah kita. Allah susun life kau takat mana kau mampu tanggung. You have to decide. Yes of course sometimes you don’t even had a choice cause sometimes choices chose you but it isn’t a bad thing. Its easier to accept a choice than to make one tbh. Redha tak susah and plus its good for the heart :)

This book ada juga cakap pasal religion, but bukan islam ah. Saya islam kalau kamu nak tahu huhu (proud). But this book isnt a tarbiah sentap type. Dia cam selit selit ja pasal religion.

Oh aah, nama buku tu “The Goodluck of Right Now” by Matthew Quick.

If you‘ve been reading the same type of book and been wanting to read something different, this book is ok. All the words used are fine. I love how the story goes. I mean have you ever watch a movie and gave it a rating of 9/10? That is how good this book is to me. Uncontrollably well written.

Oklah guys, this is it. The end of the the post.
Byeeee :)
